Salmon Sliders with Yogurt Cucumber Dill Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and boneless
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Slider buns
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
Instructions:
Grind the salmon into a coarse powder in a food processor
Put the chopped red onion, chopped dill, egg, salt, and pepper into a bowl with the ground salmon
Combine well
Make small patties about the size of sliders out of the salmon mixture
Set the grill or skillet over medium-high heat
Cook the salmon sliders for three to four minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through and have a nice crust
A grill pan can also be used
Cook the sliders and make the yogurt cucumber dill sauce at the same time
Put Greek yogurt, diced cucumber, fresh lemon juice, minced dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Combine well
For a minute or two, toast the slider buns on the grill until they're mostly brown
Put some of the yogurt cucumber dill sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the sliders together
On top of the sauce, put a salmon slider
Then, add a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice
Finally, put the other half of the bun on top
Put extra sauce on the side and enjoy the salmon sliders!
